I am writing this recommendation regarding Shawn Reinsel, whose ability to minister and bless those who are in his care goes beyond just simply answering his calling. Shawn first came into my life when a crisis happened involving my three-year old nephew whose life flight to Colorado Children’s hospital ended with him going home to be with Jesus. Shawn came alongside my family during this difficult time and provided support emotionally, spiritually, and physically (rocking the baby to sleep). It was incredible to meet and know such a fine example of a Christian servant who lives out his calling in a manner worthy. Not long after our crisis, my wife and I joined alongside of Shawn and his family for the journey of the church plant, White Flag Church. Shawn’s ministry at White Flag executed a straight-forward mission: serve people with grace and give them the truth of Jesus Christ while teaching biblically centered sound doctrine.
